Point Cabrillo at Sunset
On vacation with the family in Mendocino, CA. Taken at Pt. Cabrillo Lighthouse.
The coast had been pretty foggy and overcast for most of the day but around 3:00 pm the sun finally broke through and started melting the clouds away. We were on a different hike so had to race back to eat dinner before running - literally - to get to the lighthouse before we lost the sun to the night. When I took a sec to look at the photo on camera, what I thought was a speck of dirt on my lens turned out to actually be a seagull flying into the frame right as I hit the shutter button.
